What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by a website in your browser. They can remember information between page visits. Session cookies expire when the browser session ends; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Local storage is a separate browser feature that can also remember preferences.
How MolScout uses cookies and storage
We remember your cookie choice using a necessary first-party consent cookie. If you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics helps us understand visitor numbers, page views, traffic sources, and browser and device characteristics.
- Cookie preferences: the necessary cookie
molscout_consentstores your choice and the time of that choice for 180 days. It is available across this website's pages. If you delete it or it expires, we ask again. If cookies are blocked, your choice applies to the current page only. - Analytics cookies: Google Analytics may set the first-party cookies
_gaand_ga_GRX93V1355after you accept. They distinguish visitors and sessions, with expiration configured to 180 days and renewable during visits when analytics is allowed.
The website does not enable Google advertising personalization or Google Signals.
Local storage is used only for a temporary notification to other open tabs when your choice changes. That notification is removed immediately and cannot restore consent after the consent cookie is deleted.
External services
The Google Analytics library and Google Fonts are downloaded when a page opens. These requests disclose connection information, including your IP address, to Google. Analytics events and analytics cookies stay disabled until you accept optional cookies.
See Google’s Privacy Policy and our Privacy Policy for more about personal information and external services.
Your choices
Use Accept All Cookies or Reject All in the cookie banner, or open Cookie Settings below. In settings, Accept All allows all optional cookies, Reject All disables them, and the analytics switch updates and saves your choice immediately. To change your choice later, return to this Cookies Policy page and select Cookie Settings. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from using the website. If you withdraw consent, we stop analytics collection and remove the configured analytics cookies; information already sent to Google is not automatically deleted.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser’s website-data settings. Deleting molscout_consent or all cookies for this website brings the cookie banner back on your next page load. Open pages also check for changes when you return to them. Deleting only Google Analytics cookies does not clear the separate consent choice.
